Winter Wonderland

Thanksgiving Day

We spent Thanksgiving day with the Hanks this year. We get together with all of Judd's extended family and have dinner at a church. The Hanks family is always full of fun and entertainment. Jeff and Paige flew in from Arizona and it is always fun to have them around. Bronco can't get enough wrestling with Uncle Jeff.

Denver Broncos!

Looking at the field for the first time.

The view from our seats.
Crazy Fans!
Outside the Stadium.

Many of you know that Judd is a huge Broncos fan. For his 30th birthday, I surprised him with tickets. We went to the game on Monday night and it was sooo much fun. Even though our seats were way up high, we could still see the game very well. The Broncos have been struggling this year, but they were able to pull off a big win. Going to the game made us realize how crazy some of the fans really are. People start tailgating many hours before the game and you can't believe the paraphernalia. Cars, buses, limos and dogs were all painted in blue and orange. It was a quick trip but we were able to visit the Coors brewery and see all of downtown Denver. The kids stayed home and we were so glad to have Judd's mom come over and watch them. We came home to happy kids, a clean house, the laundry done, and a kitchen full of food. Thanks Jane for everything!!

HALLOWEEN!

Trick-or-Treat Street

The kids loved Trick-or-Treat Street at the SouthTowne Expo Center. When we left, Bronco said 'Mom, that was such a fun Halloween.'

Weekend at Grandma's

We spent the weekend at my mom's while Judd went Deer Hunting.
Aunt Emilee
The kids were so excited about their music makers from Nursery. They were so loud that Grandpa had to take out his hearing aids.

I'm stuck!

While I was doing the dishes one morning the kids were playing when I heard Hadlie start screaming. "Mom come quick Bronco is stuck." I dont' know how he got down there, but I was quite surprised considering he is usually so cautious.

Park City

The kids found a way to entertain themselves after too much shopping.

Happy Halloween!

Bronco is definitely turning into a 'lil wild man.' He is started to take after his dad by becoming a real tease.
Hadlie and Bronco posed all by themselves. I think they have had their pictures taken one too many times.
Hadlie has informed us that Ariel is her favorite princess.

Thanksgiving Point

We spent Thursday afternoon at Thanksgiving Point with friends. It was quite an enjoyable afternoon considering there were ten kids under the age of four.
Waiting for everyone to arrive.

Pony Rides
I was really glad Bronco wanted to ride the pony. In May we went to This Is The Place and the horse spooked before the ride even started. He really hasn't wanted to ride since.

Hadlie's Curlers

Hadlie likes having her hair put in curlers, but it makes a good teasing target for Bronco.

Hadlie's Dance Class

Hadlie has decided she is ready for dance lessons. At the end of the summer she said she wanted to wait until next fall. After hearing friends and nieces talk about dance class, I think she felt left out. She did really well even though she thought first position was hard.

A few rare moments when the kids are happy and getting along.

Gardener Village

Hadlie and Bronco trying on all the fun Halloween hatsHadlie is definitely not afraid of this witch.

Sunday 16 September 2007

Judd and I spent the night in Midway to celebrate our 8th Anniversary. I can't believe we've been married that long.
Hadlie and Bronco spent the night at Grandma & Grandpa Hanks and enjoyed playing with Sadie & Ellie.

Broncos Fans!
Hadlie locked Bronco in the car while it was running. She said she didn't want anyone to steal him. Bronco thought he was in trouble and cried and cried. Since it is protocol to send the Paramedics when a child is locked in a car, he was more nervous when they all arrived. He is trying to make a thumbs up while holding his blankie.
Helping Dad clean up his trailer with Oreo mustaches.
Playing at the park.

Happy Birthday Judd!

Hadlie playing with Tori.
Bloody toes and scratched backs were the result of a pretty rough water basketball game.

Saying goodbye to Elder Heaps!
